My name is Christy and I'm a Graphic Artist and Freelance Photographer from Evansville, Indiana.The first time I picked up a camera and shot some of the photography you will find under the Digital Photos tab was by pure coincidence! I stumbled upon an abandoned church and saw that the door was open. I had always been curious about it as a child. My camera happen to be in the car so I started snapping away! I was very intrigued and amazed by the decayed remains left behind.

From then on out, my interest and curiosity grew in other forgotten buildings and locations. My subjects then blossomed into my love of nature and the unique surroundings we often overlook. Eventually, I started to include my graphic artist skills with the photos I had taken to create artistic illustrations.

In December of 2009, a friend ask me to take pictures of her family. That jump started my studio and on location portrait career and things have grown from there!

I received my BS in Art with a Graphic Design Emphasis from the University of Southern Indiana in 2003. I am employed as a full-time digital artist at Memory Portraits.
